Planning for Healthy Communities

Explore approaches local communities and others throughout the state have used to promote community health and safety through design, land use policy, transportation systems and community development.

Along with keynote speaker Dr. Richard Jackson from the University of California, School of Public Health, a number of engaging panels will explore existing models and tools for building healthy communities, local initiatives and success stories in Sonoma County, as well as a discussion with local policy makers to identify what it will take to design and build healthier communities in the North Bay area. Continental breakfast and lunch are provided.
